Due to the corona, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has termed the final year examinations of the university as essential since it has been described in the larger interest of the students. In such a situation, before taking any decision regarding the state examinations, also assess the impact on students' interests and educational quality. On the guideline issued regarding examinations, UGC says that under the regulation of the Commission, all universities are obliged to obey it. However, this is not a time for controversy. All universities should conduct examinations under the prescribed guidelines.
Commission Secretary Rajneesh Jain said that he has sent the details of the guidelines issued for the examinations to all the states and the standards set for conducting it. However, if universities have any confusion about any issue, they can contact.
He said that as far as the examinations are concerned, due to the Corona crisis, he has already given a lot of facilities to the universities. In this, he can do it online and offline by any means. In which he can also adopt exam methods like Open Book Exam, MCQ (Multiple Choice Question).
